Mar del Plata. – The British band Duran Duran presented «Red Carpet Massacre», and in the middle of a frozen day, they displayed part of their new disc, in which their Argentinian fanatics could enjoy the band by third time in history. Nalbandian Beats Nadal in Paris

David Nalbandian beat Rafael Nadal, 6-4, 6-0, to win the Paris Masters last 4/11, clinching his second straight Masters title after winning in Madrid last month.

Nalbandian broke Nadal in the ninth game of the first set and three times in the second. He won the match with a forehand that bounced off the net and landed inside the line.

Nalbandian beat the world’s two top players on his way to the title, having knocked out top-ranked Roger Federer in the third round. He also beat Nadal in straight sets in the Madrid quarterfinals.

Nadal struggled with his serve in the second set, which lasted only 27 minutes. He won only 17 percent of his second-serve points and had 5 winners to Nalbandian’s 25.

Nadal had both knees taped during the match. He had not played in a final since beating Stanislas Wawrinka to win the Mercedes Cup in Stuttgart, Germany, on July 22.

Jon Uriarte (Argentina): We came with a young squad after  

our second season working together to find a new generation

 of players to stand in the Argentina shirt. We have started to 

get some results and can see that the efforts of the players 

are paying off. We are happy with the evolution of the team

The last match of Argentina was with Australia. They held off for 

3-1, with 25-21, 21-25, 25-14 and 25-23. The early stages 

suggested a match of few rallies but clean, solid hits from the

 while both Rodrigo Quiroga and Guillermo Garcia swooped 

from the back court for impressive winners.Milinkovic beat a

   The last 11/11 Nike and “Club de Corredores” organised a run race. There were about 26 millions persons. It was in Buenos Aires on Libertador Avenue.  This race started very early in the morning and finished when the last man running goes threw the finished band. People used a T-shirt light blue and run threw Libertador Av., Palermo, around the River’s Stadium. It has ten kilometres long.  

 This run race is for people older than seventeen years. You can be a runner or not.   

 Is the most important race in Latin American. It’s organised in big groups; the runners: «Cartel endorfina», that train every day and run kilometres and kilometres each time, they’re first; then comes «Aves de Fuego» people that train but not much; and then “Los Caracoles” or «corredores que no corren», they run because want it, but they don’t train.

  The organisers give you a chip, so when you pass down the start bow, this one to activate and start to count the time till you pass down the finish bow.

  After that they say to you which is your position in the race.
